Rust-Oleum Concrete Clean and Etch 3.78L

Rust-Oleum Clean & Etch is an etching solution for cleaning and degreasing bare concrete before applying a coating, paint, stain or sealer. It helps improve coating penetration and adhesion while removing efflorescence from the surface.

• Suitable for bare concrete garage floors, basements, driveways, carports, patios, walkways and pool decks.
• For interior and exterior use.
• Mix the full 3.78L container with an equal volume of water.
• Makes approximately 7.56L of mixed solution and covers up to 46m².
• Safe for use near grass and plants when used as directed.

Preparation and application

Allow newly poured concrete to cure for at least 30 days. Sweep away loose material and remove oily stains with a suitable cleaner and degreaser before etching. Apply the mixed solution in sections, scrub with a stiff-bristle broom and do not allow it to dry on the surface. Rinse thoroughly three times with clean water, then allow the concrete to dry for 24 hours before staining, sealing or coating.

Important: Use only on bare concrete. Do not apply to concrete that has already been sealed, painted or stained. Wear safety goggles, rubber gloves and protective footwear. Keep out of reach of children and refer to the product label and safety data sheet before use.
